Play Starcraft in Google Search With Zerg Rush Easter Egg

What would happen if you mixed Starcraft and Google? Well for starters, a zerg rush. Check out this new easter egg by typing “zerg rush” into Google search.

The search team over at Google must be Blizzard fans because one of the latest Easter Eggs to make an appearance is a Starcraft inspired zerg rush. Performing a search on Google for the term “zerg rush’ will leave you watching your search results assaulted by zerglings in the shape of Google “o”s normally found at the bottom of the page.

A green status bar will appear next to search and sidebar items to inform you how much health that item has. Each attacking “o” will attempt to lower the green bar until it turns red and disappears, resulting in the sidebar or search result vanishing. You can stop the “o”lings by clicking on them with your mouse pointer, but watch out for reinforcements.

When you destroy all of the assailants, or have all of your results destroyed by them, a GG (good game) message will appear at the end. You can also see your stats in a little bar on the right side of the screen or reset the game below.
