How to Share Photos Directly to Instagram in iOS

Instagram was recently updated and now, among other features, you can conveniently share your photos directly from any app from you iPhone or iPad.

Not only has Instagram revamped its popular photo sharing service, the app now provides deeper integration with iOS. You can select an image or video from within the Photos app then directly share them without launching the Instagram app itself. Users have been asking for the feature for quite a while. Now you can conveniently share your photos directly from any app in iOS.

There is some drawback to this since you won’t be able to apply Instagram’s unique editing tools. For those photos you don’t want to bother adding filters, it is more convenient. Previously, you could launch the app from the Share sheet, but you would have to enter captions from within Instagram to complete the post. This is much faster. Last month Instagram launched a revamped version of the app, featuring a new icon and flatter design, placing more emphasis on your photos and videos.
