In addition to clearing the search history, the platform allows you to remove your reading and browsing history. If you want to get rid of these histories, you can do it from your desktop or mobile device.

How to Delete Reddit Search History on Desktop

The process to clear Reddit history varies on each device, but we’ll show you how to do it on desktop or mobile. To clear Reddit search history on the desktop, follow the steps below.

1. Open your web browser.
2. Visit the Reddit website and sign into your account (if you aren’t already).
3. Click the Search Reddit field at the top of the page.
4. Your previous search queries will display. Click the X button next to each of the queries you want to go.

How to Delete Reddit Search History on Mobile

If you only have your phone or tablet available, you can delete your history from mobile devices via the app. To clear Reddit search history on mobile, follow the steps below.

1. Launch the Reddit app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android
2. Tap the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the app.
3. Your recent searches will display, and tap the X button next to each query you want to remove.

How to Delete Your Reddit View History on iPhone or iPad

In addition to removing your search history, Reddit allows you to delete your view history from your mobile device. This will allow you to clear the list of the posts you read previously.

To clear your Reddit viewing history on iPhone or iPad, follow these steps.

3. When the menu appears, tap the Settings option.

How to Delete Your Reddit Viewing History on Android

You can also clear your Reddit viewing history on your Android device. The steps vary, but we’ll show you what to do.

To delete Reddit viewing history on Android, follow these steps.

1. Launch the Reddit app.
2. Sign into your account and tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap the History option from the menu.
4. The history of all the posts you viewed will appear. Tap the three-dot button in the top right corner.
5. Tap the Clear history option.
6. Your viewing history will be removed without any posts displaying.
